Goodwood Racecourse, Goodwood
Having played a pivotal role in the sporting and social calendar for over 200 years, Glorious Goodwood is often referred to as the most beautiful racecourse in the world. From its prime position on top of the hill, the magnificent viewsnorthwards take in the rolling Sussex Downs and to the south, on a clear day, the eye stretches across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. This is the same ‘green and pleasant land’ that inspired Blake’s Jerusalem, which was written whilst walking at Goodwood.
In 2010, Goodwood will host twenty-three days of f l a t racing from May through to October. Each meeting, whether in the afternoon, a June evening, over a weekend orbank holiday - has its own character and is shaped around the steadily building pace of the flat racing season, the pinnacle for Goodwood being the July Festival, famously known as Glorious Goodwood.

Richmond Pavilion
The Richmond hospitality Pavilions are situated on the top floor of the Charlton Stand, they are glass fronted with a balcony. The Pavilions have stunning head-on views of the Home straight and across the Richmond Lawn. By looking over the balcony you will be able to watch the horses and jockeys pass by on their way out to the track. Suitable for groups of twenty four or multiples thereof. Please note there is no disabled access up to the Richmond Pavilions. A minimum of 24 guests, or multiples thereof.
March Stand (Course-Facing)
The March Stand course facing offers a limited number of exclusive boxes overlooking the course itself. All have private balconies immediately opposite the winning post, giving you a superb view as the horses charge for the finish line entering the final furlong. These hospitality boxes are all designed for entertaining a party of 12 guests.
March Stand (Paddock-Facing)
A limited number of hospitality boxes, all with their own private south facing balconies, have a perfect view of the Parade Ring where the runners and riders gather before the start of each race. Beyond the Parade Ring you are afforded a spectacular view across the Downs, Chichester Cathedral, the Solent and the Isle of Wight. All hospitality boxes are designed for parties of 12 guests.
Charlton Hunt Restaurant
This is a glass-fronted course-facing hospitality restaurant is on the first floor of the Charlton Stand and offers panoramic views stretching from Chichester to the Isle of Wight. Its extensive balcony offers an uninterrupted view of the finishing line and ideal for small groups of 2 to 12 guests.
